This blog is for high school students of Visual Arts and Communications who are learning digital media in graphic design and writing for communications. The Communication and Media Arts BA is ideal for students who want to immerse themselves in the multi-dimensional landscape of traditional and emerging media, and who wish to explore communication in all of its facets in conjunction with special interests.
The Arts, Literature and Communication program will prepare students for university studies in fields related to the arts including education, law, communication studies, journalism, visual and performing arts, film studies, film production, english, creative writing, political science, foreign languages, public relations, history, translation, linguistics, theatre and many others.
An introduction to academic theater and media scholarship forming a critical foundation on which students can formulate opinions based on factual observation and argue various points of view relating to current production in theater, radio, television, digital communication and performance studies.
The purpose of this course is to provide the basic concepts and understandings of the theory of image in mass communication industries, defined as the tools of communication exchange, manipulation and mass deception as determinant of the sociopolitical orientation.
