The Department of Film and Media Arts’ tiered programs offer options for students to pursue a degree in Film and Media Arts to their level of interest. The foundation courses provide the conceptual scaffolding for exploring new media and developing new skills, while the strand courses allow students to pursue individual interests in games and entertainment, image and film, mixed media, music and audio, or other areas.
The teachers in the area of concentration share the conviction that responsible activities in the cultural and creative industry, in the art field, in the media or in the public cultural sector or in foundations will hardly be successful in the future without a deepened understanding of digital culture.
