Arts in Health is a fast-emerging field that has developed in response to interest regarding the diverse ways in which the arts contribute to health, wellbeing, social inclusion and healthcare practice across a range of settings. We also searched literature from 1970 to 1995 on PubMed (MeSH art therapy database) to determine whether there were further foundational research articles, but we did not find any abstracts matching our criteria.
