The Minneapolis Schools’ Arts for Academic Achievement Program wants to provide the urban students of Minneapolis with opportunities in music, dance, writing, and other artistic forms. Teachers need to gain a better education of teaching their students through the arts.
Creating access to strategies and skills, and making sure that each student is appropriately challenged and supported will be my priority in English Language Arts instruction. Providing visual cues and supports are a good idea for all children – but especially so for the visual learners in your midst.
